SUMMER IN CASTLE HILLS: JUST CHILL
The Summer in Castle Hills series offers all sorts of cool suggestions for beating the heat right here in the neighborhood. Castle Hills resident Jimmy spent a recent morning relaxing on a park bench overlooking Lake Avalon. On most days, the relaxing view of the lake and park area includes duck families enjoying a swim, egrets coming in for a visit, neighbors taking walks on the trails and anglers going for the big catch. The interactive water fountain at the Village Shops offers hours of fun for kids of all ages. On any day of the week during hot summer months, kids can be seen cooling off here while family and friends take advantage of the shaded seating in the plaza. A FREEDOM FEST BEST IN CASTLE HILLS
The 2017 Castle Hills Freedom Festival was a huge success! Approximately 10,000 people attended and enjoyed family activities, great food and outstanding fireworks, which have been described by residents as “amazing,” “awesome,” “the best” and “wow!” Thanks to everyone who came out!
