Even as our reliance on technology grows, it’s the little things in life that make a difference. With this in mind, Castle Hills has its very own community mail center, and all mail for Castle Hills residents is delivered door-to-door by the Homeowners Association’s mail carriers.
Budding athletes have ample outlets for friendly competition within Castle Hills, with Sports Fields being centrally located near The Lakes at Castle Hills clubhouse and basketball courts next to the Community Center. They are designed for Castle Hills' residents and youth sports activities.
The “local grown” movement has never been closer to home with the Castle Hills Community Garden! This new, organic garden allows families living in Castle Hills to grow organic vegetables, herbs and flowers. Part of the mission of the Community Garden is to donate 25% of the harvest to local food banks.
More than a village center, the Castle Hills Village Shops is a place to gather and unwind. Drop off your dry cleaning, then stop by the Plaza to relax and watch the kids play in the interactive fountain. The Plaza is also the site of regularly scheduled events, which include movie nights, car shows and more.
The Lakes at Castle Hills offers a country club lifestyle opportunity for those residents who desire to have it all close at hand. Varied membership opportunities provide access to golf, swimming, fitness, tennis, and dining, and myriad social events bring members together.
Castle Hills' hike-and-bike trails and parks make it easy for residents to get outdoors. The community trail system covers more than 6 miles with additional trails in gated neighborhoods. With over 25 parks, Castle Hills was designed so every home is within walking distance of a park. But these are more than parks, these spaces are designed to encourage imaginative play.
Castle Hills' residents can hone that unstoppable backhand or ferocious serve at one of four neighborhood tennis courts, located next to the Community Center on Queen Margaret. Castle Hills' tennis leagues also offer opportunities for fun and socializing with neighbors.
The Community Center, located in the heart of Castle Hills, provides recreational opportunities galore with tennis and basketball courts, a swimming pool, summer day camp, a workout room and more! Additional Amenity Centers are located in Castle Hills North, West, The Reserve, Sword Bridge - and coming soon to Castle Hills Northeast.
It’s easy to cool off during the summer months with seven swimming pools (five community pools and two for residents of gated neighborhoods). Numerous playgrounds located throughout the community offer outlets for fun year-round. Three of the community pools are staffed by lifeguards in the afternoons from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
